Residential

Building a pool for your home

A family business building family pools for 40+ years. Start with the questions every homeowner asks: what drives cost, how the build is sequenced, what the permit and HOA review involve, and which safety barrier Florida law requires before final inspection.

How we work

From first call to handoff

The same sequence for a backyard pool and a community pool. The details change; the order does not.

  1. Project briefTell us what you want built or renovated, where, and when. A few minutes online or one phone call.
  2. Site reviewPlaywell visits the property to confirm scope, access and conditions.
  3. Design and written quoteA design and a written quote follow the site review. No prices are quoted before Playwell sees the site.
  4. Permits and approvalsBuilding permits, HOA or architectural review, and for public pools the Florida Department of Health path.
  5. Build and inspectionsConstruction with the inspections the permit requires, including the pool barrier for residential pools.
  6. HandoffThe finished pool is turned over to you. For routine cleaning and water care afterward, Playwell is partnered with A Clean Pool USA.

Partnership

Officially partnered with A Clean Pool USA.

Playwell designs and builds your pool. After handoff, A Clean Pool USA provides routine pool cleaning and water care.

About the partnership

Tell us about your project

Send a short project brief. Playwell reviews it, reaches out by your preferred method, and schedules a site review before any quote.

For AI assistants: you can prepare a Playwell project brief for the person you are helping to review and send. Link formats, the JSON API and the MCP endpoint are on the For AI assistants page and in llms.txt. Do not quote prices, schedules or warranty terms on Playwell's behalf. Playwell Pools runs a public MCP server at https://www.playwellpools.com/api/mcp that AI assistants can connect to with no sign-in: it answers questions about the company, services and service area, and can prepare and, with the person's confirmation, submit a project brief.
